Archiving the films submitted for the festivals. Currently some festival are not practicing the archiving.

• Should we converge in one space or separate spaces? If convergence, then how the technical aspect of them?

Features:

• To establish a schedule of the festivals and how to attach films in the schedule.

• Thumbnails format for the film details.
• Video podcast for the films.
• How can we design the page to display the details of the films submitted for the festival and how to enable the comments from the viewers.

• Relevant information that related to the films.

• i.e. Iron horse - features

• How to organize the same themed-festival at the same time cross country and internationally.

• Transmission metadata standard and gather a collection of the data for the sharing.

• Catalogue the films online.

• A feature that enable one to download a whole related details of the films like posters, background,the research involved, the impact of the films on the community, the context and so on.

• Expanded details of the film makers of the films, w/o limitations of the number of the producers or directors. SO include a "collaborators" field, rather than such strict roles only.

How do you tie with a commercial database? Do you want the films owners to manage the data or else get the organizers to maintain closed door.

Relax: A centralized database of the films to be established and the films festivals will able to access the database and pull the movies into their database for screening.

And movies which has good rating or good review and highly recommended movies get to be identified.

A communication to be encouraged between film festival organizers to discussed the films or video that can be shared amoong the festivals.

ANdycat: A controlled access for such collaboration to be adapted to limit the accessibility of the films. one system but different level of the administration accessibility.

A festival organizer can see all videos submitted to engagemedia - and then can review each film and accept into the festival or not. these videos will then be viewed on the festival page on engagemedia - also accessible via video podcast for inclusion on other websites or download via Miro

In Engage media, a plan to have an international page on the festivals. To add a feature of country category.

Relax: To have a separate category of info interface, where people submit their films or people who are interested to attend the festival can register themselves.

A metadata where open publishing is supported but tagging is essential for identify the films that has been selected for screening during the festival and notification feature.

Expand the TX metadata standard to include optional fields for film festival inclusion.

On a festival page, for a festival organizers there an option where they get to choose the films to be screen and notify the film maker.

And for a film makers who has submitted films get to be notified and some of your films that has been selected for the screening by many other festival organisers also to be notified.

Already users can favorite videos and make a playlist. This could be expanded for users who do screenings, make different screening playlists for easy download via video podcast.

Wiretransfer is bad. the costs (for example for burma or thailand) often exceed the amount donated...its better not to donate! so paypal is a better option.

• Iron horse have a feature where they subtitle the foreign films.

• Proposal by Relax: If an upcoming festival that wants to collect related themed films,they can seek other film festivals organisers to identify the films related to the theme from their shelve.

• How to we collaborate the theme cross country? A format where a standard high quality 10-min films to be produced and complied in DVD with the list of the film maker details.

• A new production for a DVD with a single theme? in house production or engagemedia to propose the theme to the fellow film makers to make new video on the international theme and submit the films to engage media in collaboration with local film festival of each country.

• The yearly collaborations for now is between the present TX-member of Asia Pacific (6 countries).

• i.e. Migration issue in Asia Pacific.
